TIMELINE
- April 25, 2011: deadline to fill out and submit the online artist registration form included on this webpage.
- April 27, 2011: General information session for all those considering participation. This session is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the VIP room of the airport.
- May 30, 2011, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.: All proposals must be delivered personally at the Aruba Airport Authority Information Booth. You will receive a signed receipt of delivery.
- May 31 and June 01, 2011: The AiR ART Committee will review all entrees and make a selection.
- The week of June 06, 2011: The AiR ART Committee will contact all participants and discuss eventual project adaptations where necessary, after which the AAA will sign contracts with selected artists.
- The week of June 13, 2011: Artists can begin with their projects as convened. About every three to four weeks, the progress of the projects will be evaluated by the AiR ART Committee.
- September 01, 2011: The installation of the sculptures will start.
- September 20, 2011: The installation has to be completed.
