Edible items you brought or bought may be permissible to the United States but must be declared and inspected.

  • Bakery Items without pork/beef
  • Coffee/Tea (not Cuban)

Consume meals purchased outside the airport prior to entering the Aruba CBP inspection area. Meals purchased within the Aruba Airport are permissible for onboard consumption but should be declared. 

Additionally, declare any excursions to: the Donkey Sanctuary, Ostrich Farm, Philips Animal Garden or Horseback Riding. Your assistance will help to protect American Agriculture and her flora and fauna!

Above list is not all-inclusive and the Head Security Officer may determine that an item, that does not appear on the Prohibited Items list, is prohibited or determine that an item on the Exemption List is dangerous and therefore not permitted for travel. This list is applicable at all Passenger and Luggage screening Checkpoints at Aruba Airport.

EXEMPTIONS LIST

L-A-G REQUIREMENT
Liquids, aerosols a/o gels are permitted when packed in one clear transparent resealable 1 quart (1 liter) size plastic bag which may contain liquids, gels, and/or aerosols in containers of 3.4 oz. (100ml) capacity or less per container. The contents of the plastic bag must fit comfortably and the plastic bag must be completely closed/sealed and subjected to x-ray inspection separate from the passenger’s carry-on bag.
MEDICATION, BABY FORMULA REQUIREMENT
Medications (liquid, gels, and/or aerosol)
Liquids (to include juice) or gels for diabetic or other medical needs
Baby formula/milk (to include breast milk) and baby food/juice in containers if a baby or small child is traveling
Passenger may have the items listed, but must declare them at the screening checkpoint if they are not contained in a clear transparent resealable 1 quart (1 liter) size plastic bag and/or are over 3.4 oz. (100 ml).
DUTY FREE PURCHASES REQUIREMENT
Duty free items (to include liquids, gels and/or aerosols) purchased inside the sterile area (i.e. behind the passenger screening check-point) are allowed to be carried into the cabin of the aircraft. Duty free items purchased in the main concession area have to be inserted into the hold luggage in the baggage reclaim area.
INORGANIC/GRANULAR MATERIAL REQUIREMENT
Inorganic powders and granular material above 12 ounces used for F&B purposes, for cleaning and for Contractor purposes are allowed These items must undergo alternative screening procedures.
