|James L. Fazio - Chief Executive Officer|
|James L. Fazio works for a U.S. subsidiary company of Schiphol Group and is the Chief Executive Officer of Aruba Airport Authority N.V. since September 2014. Prior to working in Aruba, Mr. Fazio was the Chief Operating Officer at JFK Airport’s Terminal 4, and was part of the transition team in 1997, when Schiphol was the successful bidder for the privatization of JFK Airport’s International Arrivals Building; at the time, the largest airport privatization project in the U.S. Prior to joining the Schiphol team, Mr. Fazio worked for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in various airport operations positions, including assignments at each of the NY area major airports. Mr. Fazio has nearly 30 years’ experience in airport management, is a commercial pilot, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Communications and an MBA from Adelphi University in New York.|
|Jurgen R. Benschop - Chief Operations Officer||
|Jurgen R. Benschop currently assumes the position of Chief Operating Officer in the Executive Management Team of Aruba Airport Authority N.V. responsible for the Management of Queen Beatrix International Airport.
Mr. Benschop is the past chairman of the Airports Council International (ACI) Latin American & Caribbean, Safety Committee and is still active in this committee today. Mr. Benschop is also a member of the ACI World Safety and Technical Committee and assists ACI together with other airports around the world to produce best practices materials to help airports in raising the bar on safety and operational aspects.
Mr. Benschop’s educational background consists of a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Business Administration; a Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Science, both from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, FL. Mr. Benschop also holds an Associate of Science degree in Hotel Management and a IATA Diploma in Airport Strategic Management.
Mr. Benschop holds an FAA Private Pilot’s License with both single and multi-engine ratings.
|Barbara J.E. Brown - Chief Commercial Officer|
|Barbara J.E. Brown is the Chief Commercial Officer at Aruba Airport Authority N.V. managing the aeronautical and non-aeronautical revenues and its commercial activities, the air service development and the PR related activities at the airport.
Ms. Brown obtained her bachelor’s degree at the Hogeschool of Arnhem in 1996. She joined Aruba Airport Authority N.V. in 1997 as Commercial Analyst. After 4 years in service Ms. Brown became the Commerce Manager managing all commercial activities at the airport. In 2007 she became Business unit Manager Terminal which included the commercial part of the airport business, the landside and terminal operations activities and the airport’s air service development.
|Aisha M. Anthony - Chief Financial Officer|
|Mrs. Aisha M. Anthony is the Chief Financial Officer at Aruba Airport Authority N.V. and forms part of the Executive Management Team. Mrs. Anthony joined Aruba Airport Authority N.V. in April 2009 and with her team of about 20 personnel she is responsible within the company for the Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Planning & Control, Payroll, Risk Management including Insurance and Claims, Business Compliance and Information & Communication Technology. Mrs. Anthony holds a Florida CPA license since 1996 and maintains her CPE education up to par. In that same year Mrs. Anthony also obtained her Master’s Degree in Accounting from the Florida International University in Miami Florida, and in 1992 she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with Magna Cum Laude honors from the University of South Florida in Tampa Florida. Previous to joining Aruba Airport Authority N.V., Mrs. Anthony had worked for 16 years at KPMG as an external auditor and her last function she assumed was the Director of Audit and Office Leader for the KPMG Aruba Office.|
|Shensly Tromp - Director Information Technology|
|Mr. Shensly D. Tromp is the Director Information Technology of Aruba Airport Authority N.V. Mr. Tromp has over 12 years of experience in Information Technology (IT), project management, auditing and consultancy. He started his career at PwC as a consultant and certified information system auditor, leading diverse IT, risk, assurance and security projects. In 2009, he was appointed manager at the Central Bank of Aruba, where he was responsible for several departments such as IT, Facilities, Information Security and Physical Security. Furthermore, he served as a committee member on innovation, payment systems and information governance. Mr. Tromp completed his Bachelor in computer science at the Hogeschool Arnhem & Nijmegen, followed by a Master’s in business informatics at the Utrecht University. He also holds an MBA from the Business School Netherlands.|
|Angeline Flemming - Director Safety, Security & Regulatory Compliance|
|Mrs. Angeline Flemming is the Director of the Safety, Security and Regulatory Compliance for Aruba Airport Authority N.V. and in that function Mrs. Flemming also serves as the Airport’s liaison for local and international regulators and authorities.
Mrs. Flemming has been working with Aruba Airport Authority N.V. since 2004, where she was responsible for leading and transforming the Security functions and responsibilities to be compliant with local regulations and international standards.
After completing her studies at the “Nederlandse Politie Academie” (Law Enforcement Management) in Holland in 1991 and prior to joining Aruba Airport Authority N.V., Mrs. Flemming worked for the Government of Aruba, where she held several leadership positions in the Police Force and the Internal Affairs Department of the Public Prosecutors Office.
|Fons A. Essed - General Counsel|
|Mr. Fons A. Essed joined Aruba Airport Authority N.V. as its General Counsel in 2003. As such he oversees and coordinates the Company’s Legal Department. In his almost 30 years of legal experience in Aruba Mr. Essed has worked as Senior Legislative Officer for the Legislation Department of Aruba’s Ministry of Justice, as Deputy Civil Law Notary, and as General Counsel of a local bank, where he was also responsible for the bank’s Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism activities.
Mr. Essed holds a Master’s Degree in Notarial Law from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands.
|Carlos Rojer - Director Internal Audit|
|Mr. Carlos Rojer is the Director of Internal Audit of Aruba Airport Authority N.V. Mr. Rojer is responsible for providing the Company with Internal Audit and Business Risk Advisory services. This includes leading Internal Audits, Operational Audits, Financial Audits, Compliance Audits, Special Audits, IT Audits and Risk Assessments. Mr. Rojer reports both administratively to the Board of Directors and functionally to the Supervisory Board of Directors. This reporting line provides the ultimate source of independence for the Internal Audit function.
Mr. Rojer began his career in 1998 at a medium sized accountants firm in Vught in the Netherlands after having completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting at the Hogeschool Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. Later he joined KPMG in the Netherlands as an external auditor, providing services for international clients mainly in the financial services industries. Following his return to Aruba he took the position of senior auditor at KPMG Aruba. He continued his professional path at the SIA (Servicio di Impuesto Aruba/Tax Office) where he was a fiscal auditor and also specialist auditor for the enterprise industry.
|Edmina Mendeszoon-Strickx - Director Human Resources|
|Mrs. Mendeszoon-Strickx is the Director Human Resources of Aruba Airport Authority N.V. Joining Aruba Airport Authority N.V. in October 2016 Mrs. Mendeszoon-Strickx has over 25 years of experience in human resources management and leadership. Her broad experience includes policy making, organization development, change management, coaching, employee benefits, employee relations, payroll, talent acquisition and management. She has experience in various industries including government, airline, professional services, finance and education. She is also an experienced university lecturer. At Aruba Airport Authority N.V. she is responsible for the smooth and profitable operation of the Human Resources department. She supervises and provides consultation to management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, training and development, budget, and labor relations. She guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the entire company. Mrs. Mendeszoon-Strickx earned her Bachelor in Human Resources in Amsterdam. She also holds an advanced degree in Human Resources Policies, a degree as Internal Advisor and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.|
|Giovanni van Wijk - Director Airport Development|
|Mr. Giovanni van Wijk holds the position of Director Airport Development and is responsible for all construction, electro mechanical and maintenance projects. Mr. van Wijk has a finance and business administration background with over 30 years of work experience. Mr. van Wijk has held the positions of CFO of the DUMEDI consortium in Mexico and in Aruba he was the Managing Director of DRIVE Motors N.V. and General Manager of Topcar N.V.
In 2012 he completed the Airport Management Professional Accreditation Program (AMPAP) which accredits his designation as International Airport Professional (IAP).
