U.S. Check-In Terminal Process – April 8–28, 2025
Delta, United, Southwest & Spirit (Effective April 8)
Passengers flying with Delta, United, Southwest, and Spirit are now using our new U.S. Check-In Terminal.
Arriving at the Airport
Use the new designated drop-off lane in front of the terminal.
Check-In Process
Enter through Door A.
Check in via self-service kiosks or at the airline counter.
Exit through Door B, then proceed to the right toward Access Control and Aruba Immigration.
Luggage & Security
No need to reclaim luggage before U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP).
No baggage drop-off required after U.S. CBP.
Secondary security screening is still required until the new terminal becomes fully operational.
JetBlue & American Airlines
Please note that the planned transition of JetBlue and American Airlines to the new terminal—originally scheduled for April 29—has been temporarily postponed.
For now, passengers flying with JetBlue and American Airlines will continue to check in at the current U.S. Check-In Hall.
Important reminders for JetBlue & American passengers:
You must reclaim your luggage before U.S. CBP.
Drop off your luggage again after U.S. CBP.
Secondary security screening is still required.
We will provide an update once the transition for these airlines resumes.
What’s Next?
Once the full transition is implemented, travelers will enjoy:
No baggage reclaim or recheck before/after U.S. CBP
No secondary security screening after check-in
A faster, smoother U.S. preclearance process at Aruba Airport
Stay tuned for updates and thank you for your continued patience as we work to enhance your travel experience.
