ORANJESTAD: Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA), announces the introduction of a new “Passenger Flow Control” system for all U.S.-bound departing passengers. This measure, which takes effect on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, is designed to create a more efficient travel experience during the ongoing Gateway 2030 construction project.
Under this new system, passengers traveling to the United States may enter the U.S. Check-In Terminal no earlier than three (3) hours prior to their scheduled departure time. To manage passenger flow, access will be organized by a color-coded group system based on flight departure times, as outlined below:

Each departing passenger will be assigned a time window to enter the terminal based on their flight's scheduled departure time. These measures are intended to improve flow through the check-in process, reduce crowding, and enhance the overall airport experience.
The time slot for each U.S. bound passenger is determined by the flight information submitted on the Electronic Disembarkation (ED) Card.
Residents departing Aruba to the U.S. should follow the same guidelines and enter the terminal no earlier than 3 hours before their scheduled flight.
In the event of a flight delay, passengers must adhere to their original departure time or consult with their airline for further instructions.
To support this process, AUA Airport ambassadors will be stationed at terminal entrances to monitor access. Passengers arriving before their assigned time will be asked to wait outside the terminal until their group is called.
