Temporary Changes to Shops & Dining After Security

Dear travelers,

Starting May 1st, 2026, you may notice that most shops and food & beverage locations on the right side after security are closed. This is part of the preparation for the next stage of Gateway 2030 – Phase 1B.

Please rest assured that these shops and dining options will be relocated to other gate areas in the coming months.

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue enhancing our airport to create a better travel experience for everyone.

Pet Relief Areas at Aruba Airport

Traveling with your pet just got easier at Aeropuerto Internacional Reina Beatrix (AUA)!

Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) is proud to introduce three new Pet Relief Areas for departing passengers traveling with pets. These dedicated spaces provide a clean, convenient, and comfortable place for pets to relieve themselves before boarding, making the journey smoother for both pets and their owners.

Where to Find the Pet Relief Areas

  • Near the restrooms at Gate B
  • Near the restrooms at Gate 2
  • Along the corridor right before Gates 7 & 8

Each pet relief station is equipped with waste disposal bins and rinsing facilities, and maintained to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for all travelers.

Pet Relief Area Rules

To keep these areas clean, safe, and comfortable for everyone, please follow these simple guidelines:

  • Supervise Your Pet – Stay with your pet at all times.
  • Keep Pets Leashed – Leashes are required in the area.
  • Clean & Rinse – Use waste bags provided and dispose of them in the bins. Please rinse the spot with water after use.
  • Relief Only, Not Play – These areas are for quick relief, not extended stays or playtime.
  • One Pet at a Time – For courtesy and safety, please manage one pet at a time.
  • Report Any Issues – Notify airport staff if the area needs attention.

Thank you for helping us maintain a welcoming travel experience for all passengers and their pets!
