Following January 3rd flight disruptions, airport operations are back to normal operations.
Passengers with confirmed scheduled flights are advised to arrive on time. Passenger Flow Control measures remain in effect, and the airport may be busier than usual as previously cancelled flights are being accommodated today in close coordination with airline partners and airport authorities, in a safe and secure manner.
Passengers traveling with carry-on luggage only, who already have their boarding pass and are within the airline check-in window, may proceed directly to the Immigration checkpoint. These passengers do not need to check in or enter the check-in hall. This measure is in place to support smooth passenger flow and reduce congestion inside the terminal.
Passengers whose flights were cancelled, as well as travelers without a confirmed flight, are strongly advised not to come to the airport and to contact their airline directly for rebooking and travel arrangements.
Passengers are encouraged to check directly with their airline and visit

Graf von Zinzendorf School receives 6 Smartboard Screens
ORANJESTAD – Aruba Airport Authority N.V.’s (AAA)Wings of Hope (WoH) team proudly provided Graf von Zinzendorf School (GVZ) with a total of 6 smartboard screens on Thursday August 29, 2024.
AAA’s WoH focuses on executing socially responsible projects with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as its guiding principle to contribute to the well-being, further development, and sustainability of the Aruban community. AAA’s WoH has partnered up with the Department of Education Aruba (DEA) to identify schools in need of support, and based on the needs of schools in Aruba, DEA recommended GVZ to receive assistance first.
Through a meeting held with GVZ, WoH learned that GVZ was in the process of moving to a new location because its current location was no longer safe for educational purposes. Although WoH could not assist with renovations, part of the school’s plan is to implement innovative technology to be able to enhance their quality of education and learning environment (SDG 4). In collaboration with a local supplier, and in the presence of class students, teachers, and WoH team members, WoH officially handed over the 6 smartboard screens to the entire school. GVZ has expressed their sincere gratitude towards Wings of Hope, and prepared a special song, Wings of Hope inspired drawings by the class students, and a certificate of appreciation to hand over to WoH.
AAA Wings of Hope is proud to be able to contribute to another school through innovative technology, and in this way, offer the students a modern and interactive way to continue learning. “Wings of Hope aims to successfully execute various projects through our yearly plan, and in this way contribute to different SDGs. Seeing the students faces of pure happiness and gratitude is what makes our role even more fulfilling”, said Sustainability & Health Manager, Christine Kaarsbaan-Leo.

AAAs Wings of Hope Entrega Oficial:
