Concession: Food Truck in Forecourt Area at Aeropuerto Internacional Reina Beatrix

Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) is developing a Food Truck Forecourt Area at the airport, serving meeters and greeters, arriving and departing passengers, and the airport community. This new initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the travel experience at Aruba Airport by offering a diverse range of high-quality, local food and beverage options.

The Food Truck Forecourt Area will be located opposite the arrival terminal within the landside, non-restricted zone between the current car rental offices. Its purpose is to provide a convenient, locally flavored, and appealing food and beverage service area for passengers, visitors, and the airport community. The area will be developed and managed by the airport operator, with food trucks purchased and branded to align with the airport’s overall identity. Local small business owners are invited to submit proposals to operate these trucks, which will be leased to selected operators responsible for day-to-day operations.

Available Food Truck Categories:

• Food Truck number 1 – Coffee & pastry food truck: serving fresh coffee, pastries, baked goods, ice cream, milkshakes, frozen yogurt, sweets, etc        
• Food Truck number 2 – Healthy food truck: offering a variety of healthy food and beverages (non-alcoholic), fruit bowls, wraps, sandwiches, etc.
• Food Truck number 3 – Local/Creole food truck breakfast/lunch/dinner with beverages (non-alcoholic), featuring local foods focusing on traditional and contemporary local meals for the entire day
• Food Truck number 4 – International food truck: providing a selection of food items and beverages (non-alcoholic) that do not coincide with other F&B offerings already available on the landside areas (including other facilities like Panda Express, Juan Valdez, and Abraco)

Interested parties have to confirm their interest by emailing [email protected] in order to receive the RFP from AAA. 

This request must be submitted on /or before October 30, 2025. On October 31, 2025. The RFP document will be provided to all interested parties digitally through a secured system.  

Once the RFP document is provided to the interested party on October 31, 2025, an acknowledgement for receipt is required to validate the receipt of the RFP. Verification for the receipt of the request for the RFP remains the responsibility of the requesting party. 

A site visit is scheduled for November 5, 2025, at 09.00 am lt. at the Main Conference Room at AAA. Questions on the RFP can be submitted on November 12, 2025. Answers to the questions from all parties will be emailed ultimately November 17, 2025, to each party that has received our RFP. 

The final date for submission of a proposal to operate the above-described concession is November 24, 2025, as per instructions in the RFP document.

AAA reserves the right to contact all entities on its own initiative who have expressed their interest in the past to AAA for the operation of such a concession.
